After being driven out of Kabul in 2001 by NATO forces, the Taliban have reconquered a large part of Afghanistan, forcing the Americans into a peace agreement. Following their military victory, they are preparing to retake power in Kabul. Will the Afghan people be sacrificed once again in the name of this semblance of peace?
