Bella and Vipulan are 16 years old, part of a generation convinced that their future is under threat. Climate change, the 6th mass extinction of species… in 50 years, their world could become uninhabitable. Despite their warnings, nothing seems to change. So, they decide to trace the problem back to its source: our relationship with the living world. Throughout an extraordinary journey, they come to understand that we are deeply connected to all other species. By saving them, we save ourselves. Humans have believed they could separate from nature, but we are nature. We are, ourselves, Animals.
Following the success of “Tomorrow,” which had more than a million admissions in France and won the César Award for Best Documentary in 2016, Cyril Dion examines our relationship with the living world.
Since its official selection at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, the film has already won five festival awards and has attracted over 150,000 cinema-goers.
